A Little Background
I have been at CityHealth since 2016, starting as a supervising physician and in January becoming Chief Medical Officer. I love CityHealth’s progressive and innovative approaches to getting patients the best health care.
I am excited to be a part of CityHealth and help you stay happy and healthy!
I have been a board certified Emergency Physician since 2007. I also work in primary care, LGBTQI and opiate addiction medicine. I graduated from Southern Methodist University with a degree in Film and worked in the film/tv industry for several years. I soon realized that it was not the career for me and took a year or two to soul search, finally landing on becoming an MD. I attended the University of Texas- Dallas for my pre medical requisites. I attended medical school at the University of Texas HSC- San Antonio. I completed my residency in Emergency Medicine at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt in Manhattan. I also completed a two-year fellowship focusing on Evidence Based Medicine, Cognitive Studies and Adult Education.
